Levine, a Democrat like Lara, is nevertheless challenging the incumbent because of his failings in office and with the promise to deliver good governance.

Well, it’s official. The big, gregarious, ego that is Phil Brock is showing a militant side. The man that has managed to charm, perhaps even hypnotize, thousands of Santa Monicans into seeing him as their civic Messiah has finally crossed the line enough that someone has to say something.

Los Angeles County’s 3rd Supervisorial District, like each of the five Supervisorial Districts, is massive and includes roughly 2.5 million people. District 3 encompasses a large portion of the Westside, including Topanga and Malibu, most of the San Fernando Valley, as well as Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake, and the Santa Monica Mountains.
