Santa Monica Residents Eagerly Await the Reopening of Barnes & Noble
When Barnes & Noble flings open its doors on the Third Street Promenade next Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., among those present will be local icon, Jerry Peace Activist Rubin—that’s his legal name—who has sold colorful bumper stickers on the Promenade since 1997.

Do the Most Dance Company or DMDC is opening Tuesday, September 3rd at 1256 Westwood Blvd! We are a competition dance company for ages 3-18. DMDC trains dancers with the motto “The best dancer in the room is the dancer having the most fun!” Dance in its purest form is a release of emotion, so along with the technique and choreography dancers will learn in our jazz, ballet, hip hop, acro, and lyrical classes, they will most importantly experience the strong mind and body connection that dance offers.
Two PCH Safety Bills Advance in the State Legislature
This week, two State Senate bills relating to safety on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) made progress on the Assembly Floor. Both bills aim to enhance road safety and reduce speeding-related incidents in the community.
