In their second game of the new year, the Westside’s Culver City Centaurs lost against the Redondo Union Sea Hawks on Monday night game at Redondo High by a score of 78-72.
Santa Monica Vikings Basketball Trounces Dorsey, 71-27
Santa Monica High School won big last Thursday night against Dorsey High School in their sixth game of the season. While it was a team effort, a few Viking players stood out, including junior Jayden Xu, and seniors Holden Hendrickson and Anton Berge. They worked together well, and after a few buckets, the Vikings were feeling good. Within the first four minutes of the game, and with full velocity and quick hands, the team had an 11-0 lead. Vikings fans in attendance were fired up and made themselves heard.
