I Too, Am a Citizen of the World
I am an investigative reporter. A title that I have dreamt of holding for as long as I can remember, and today it is mine. For over half a decade, I have made America my home. Each brick of that home is a testament to the trials I have endured by myself in hopes that it will all pay off one day. Writing has forever been my refuge, my sanctuary, and my companion – it is my canvas upon which I paint the hues of my existence.

EDITORIAL: Judge Was Right to Penalize Beverly Hills Over Lack of Housing
Recently, L.A. Superior Court Judge Curtis A. Kin ruled that no residents of Beverly Hills can upgrade or re-design their homes, or add amenities like a swimming pool, until Beverly Hills agrees to zone for more multi-family housing. Despite what this may mean for the freedom of individual homeowners, we firmly agree with his decision. Nothing else seems to be persuading the defiant city council to budge.
ENDORSEMENT: Katie Porter for United States Senate
Westside Voice acknowledges that California Democrats enjoy an abundance of riches in three great candidates for the United States Senate this year for the seat once held by Dianne Feinstein. Representative Adam Schiff is a bona fide national hero. We also admire Representative Barbara Lee, a proven progressive who was the lone vote against initiating our two decades of war in the Middle East. However, our choice for the Senate is middle-class champion Katie Porter of Orange County. Let’s talk about why, looking briefly at the other candidates.
