The Culver City Unified School District (CCUSD) parcel tax is on the ballot for renewal this November. CCUSD receives lower per-student funding from the state compared to surrounding districts. Measure K generates approximately $2.45 Million for Culver City Unified each year. With Measure K funds expiring in 2026, the district has submitted the parcel tax – relabeled as Measure O – to the November ballot to hold on to gains made in the district with the tax funds over the past five years. Without a renewal, the district said it would have to cut around $2.45 Million from the budget.
