Century City is renowned for its towering skyscrapers, upscale shopping, entertainment, and dining scene. With a diverse range of restaurants serving delectable dishes from around the world, there’s something to satisfy every taste. Here’s your guide to the best eateries in Century City!
Founded in Taipei in 1958, Din Tai Fung is a well-loved eatery known for its delicious handmade soup dumplings. This wildly popular chain serves an extensive menu of traditional Chinese dishes, such as noodles, rice bowls, and appetizers. The restaurant’s signature xiao long bao, delicate dumplings stuffed with savory broth and meat, are a must-try for any food enthusiast. I tried the Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao ($17.50), which featured 18 folds and was stuffed with top-quality pork marinated in a blend of carefully selected seasonings paired with fresh ginger and green onions. The dumplings packed a punch and were perfectly balanced. With its charming ambiance and thoughtful service, Din Tai Fung is my go-to for consistently good Chinese food.
Clementine is a family-owned neighborhood bakery-café in Century City. The eatery boasts a laid-back setting and a lip-smacking menu comprising a range of fresh, seasonal sandwiches, salads, soups, and baked goods. The eatery’s chefs shop at local farmers’ markets for the freshest seasonal ingredients and prepare everything from scratch and by hand. The deli’s top dishes include the Tuna Melt, Egg Salad Sandwich, Farro Salad, Clementine Caprese Salad, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Summer Chicken Salad, Apple Turnover, and Banana Bread with Walnuts. Clementine also retails custom gift baskets and packed picnics for the Hollywood Bowl. I ordered the signature Clementine’s Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($10.25). It was the best grilled cheese sandwich I’ve ever had. It featured two perfectly toasted slices of bread, melted cheese that oozed from every corner, and a hint of butter that added a satisfying crunch.

It is a rooftop eatery and lounge featuring a wood-burning Italian grill and panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills. Order the Spaghetti Pomodoro e Smoked Burrata, Gamberoni alla Griglia, Ravioli di Zucca e Tartufo, Pasta Nerano, Tiramisu, and Millefoglie al Miele, and you will not be disappointed! With its chic atmosphere and awe-inspiring views, Terra offers an excellent dining experience for those looking for authentic Italian flavors in the heart of Los Angeles.
Hinoki & the Bird is a critically acclaimed New American restaurant serving dishes that are a mix of Japanese ingredients and techniques and California flavors. The restaurant offers a stylish dining backdrop with a tranquil ambiance, making it a great choice for special occasions. The interiors are modern and sleek, with wood paneling and a side patio almost as big as the dining room. The eatery’s signature dishes include Lobster Roll, Yellowtail, Kale Salad, Beef Tartare, Chili Crab Toast, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and Salty Miso Mochi. The restaurant also offers a Happy Hour menu from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday to Friday. Grab a table in front of the open kitchen or at the light-filled indoor/outdoor patio, which is perfect for people-watching.
Javier’s in Century City offers a fun, upscale Mexican dining experience. With its aesthetically pleasing interiors and scrumptious food offerings, this welcoming restaurant is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The sprawling eatery’s signature dishes include mole poblano, enchiladas, tacos, and fajitas, all crafted with fresh ingredients and traditional Mexican techniques. The restaurant’s signature margaritas are crowd-favorites as well. I recommend visiting Javier’s on the weekend and getting a spot at its majestic bar or outdoor patio.
