One man was killed and two women were injured during a shooting early Sunday morning in a Long Beach neighborhood, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Incident
Police said the shooting was reported just after 12:10 a.m. in the 3200 block of Caspian Avenue. Officers responding to the scene found three people suffering from gunshot wounds to their upper bodies.
According to a police news release, officers immediately provided medical aid until Long Beach Fire Department crews arrived. All three victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The male victim later died from his injuries. The two female victims were listed in stable condition, police said.

Investigators said the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting fled the area before officers arrived. No arrests have been announced, and police have not released information about a possible motive.
