The Krabby Patty Kollab is here and in Los Angeles it’s most notably at BOA Steakhouse. In honor of SpongeBob’s 25th anniversary, BOA has helped recreate the Krabby Patty. Their version of the “secret” burger includes an 8-ounce Wagyu beef patty with a house-made short rib marmalade, BOA burger sauce, tomato, red onion, and parsley salad all on a toasted brioche bun, with a side of fries for $24. For over a century, civil engineers, automotive designers, architects, and graphic artists have worked to create highway systems and the vehicles that traverse them. Modern and contemporary artists have long noticed and been inspired by the world in which the automobile operates and have responded to it in their work. Eyes on the Road brings this overlooked “art” of the highway together with this visual culture to highlight the role of the car in shaping the country’s built environment.
