ASK BEFORE YOU SIGN – AND YOU PROBABLY WON’T WANT TO

I expected the usual card tables outside local markets, but developers and their allies appear to have hired mercenaries going door to door against Measure GS.

That costs a lot of money!  What does it tell us about the motives behind the signature gathering?  Anti-GS campaign filings show the effort is led by the head of Cypress Realty, which has a number of market-rate developments pending.  They’d dearly love to escape paying their fair share in GS taxes to support our schools, seniors, and affordable housing.

The signature gatherers are professionals, just out to make a buck.  Skeptical?  You have the legal right to ask them whether they are paid, and how much THEY get for YOUR signature.

Prepare to be shocked!
