Enjoy this six-minute clip with our friend from Hollywood First Look, Sari Cohen, as she interviews the stars of the new Hulu dramedy, “Unprisoned,” including Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo.

Unprisoned tells the story of Edwin Alexander, played by Lindo, who is being released from prison and — while not originally intended — ends up living with his daughter Paige, played by Washington. The show uses both comedic and dramatic elements to showcase what life is like for a formerly incarcerated black man. You’ll hear Lindo say that he hopes the show helps alter viewers’ perceptions of the formerly incarcerated.

Also interviewed are Faly Rakotohavana, who plays Paige’s mixed-race son Finn, Jee Young Han, who I believe plays a friend of Paige’s, and the adorable Jordyn McIntosh, who plays a very young Paige in flashbacks. Enjoy the interviews and let us know what you think of the show!
