Many may remember the dramatic Thai Cave Rescue of 2018, when hundreds of volunteers from multiple countries aided Thai workers and experts in rescuing the young Thai soccer team that had ventured into the Tham Luang caves. The caves had flooded behind them, preventing the team from escaping. They remained trapped there without food, shelter, and drinking water for more than three weeks.

A dramatic documentary was released last year chronicling the harrowing events. Now a live-action telling of the story has been released on Amazon Prime Video. It is directed by Ron Howard and stars Collin Ferrell, Viggo Mortenson, and Joel Edgerton.
