A 19-year-old died after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Interstate 485 in northeast Charlotte late Tuesday night, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 10:20 p.m. on Aug. 4 on the outer loop of I-485 just before Exit 32 for U.S. 29.

Troopers said they responded to reports of a pedestrian being hit on Interstate 485.
During the investigation, authorities determined that the pedestrian was Logan Glaubitz, 19, of Cameron.
Officials said Glaubitz was struck by a black 2013 Ford Edge while attempting to cross the interstate in the far left lane.

According to investigators, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department had received a missing person report from the Truliant Amphitheater before the crash occurred.
