Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist early Monday morning in Glendale, authorities said.
Oscar Octavio Zavala-Salazar, 47, was taken into custody Tuesday and booked on a felony hit-and-run charge. Investigators have not yet said which part of the crash Zavala-Salazar is accused of being involved in or what led officers to identify him as a suspect.

The collision occurred just before 4 a.m. Monday on Grand Avenue near Myrtle Avenue, north of Glendale Avenue, according to police.
Investigators said a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle and then hit by two additional vehicles moments later. None of the drivers involved stopped at the scene, police said.
The city of Glendale’s Real-Time Crime Center reviewed video and other data that helped determine the sequence of events, authorities said.
